This position is contingent upon successful contract proposal submission and award.
Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused professional to support Afloat Training Group Pacific (ATGPAC) as a
Launch Area Coordinator / Tasking Authority (LAC/TA) . The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in ship Combat Systems management, with a proven track record in implementing the Task Group Concept as a Launch Area Coordinator/Tasking Authority or as a senior staff member for a Task Group/Force Commander. They will also have hands-on experience as a Fleet or Carrier Strike Group TLAM Officer/Assistant, along with expertise in using systems such as MDS, TSN, GCCS-M, and TCT for scenario development and training. ATGPAC is tasked with training and certifying all Pacific Fleet ships to ensure they meet evolving standards for naval and joint combat operations. This requires a dynamic, flexible approach to training, with ATGPAC delivering both in-person and distributed training across a broad spectrum of maritime missions. Special focus is placed on training shipboard teams to independently maintain and enhance combat readiness throughout deployment cycles. Responsibilities may include but not limited to: Conduct
computer-based simulations
and
Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) events
in the ATGSD Battle Lab to enhance Pacific Fleet readiness Integrate
live and synthetic training
for ships and teams, including
Final Battle Problems (FBP), Inport Training Exercises (MITE), and certification events Utilize
Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE), Tactical Data Links (TDL), and the Mission Distribution System (MDS)
to create realistic operational scenarios Collaborate with
Tactical Training Group Pacific (TTGP)
to execute
Fleet Synthetic Training (FST) Program
events Support the
Distributed Training Architecture (DTA)
under the guidance of
Commander, Pacific Fleet (CPF) Requirements Experience: 5 years of
ship Combat Systems
experience with configuration, operation, maintenance, and repair Naval Warfare Specialist
with experience in implementing the Task Group Concept as a LAC/TA, senior staff member for a Task Group / Force Coordinator, or as a Senior Facilitator training warfare commanders or senior staff members Experience as a Fleet or Carrier Strike Group
TLAM Officer / Assistant Experience as a Launch Area Coordinator in
Strike Group or Tasking Authority / Tomahawk Executive Agent Scenario development, training configuration, and operational experience
with
one or more
of the following systems: Modeling and Simulation Joint Semi-Automated Forces
(JSAF) Multi-System Automated Remote-Control Interface
(MARCI) Battle Force Team Trainer
(BFTT) Tactical Data Information Links , including Link 11/16, Satellite-J, and Link 16 Global Command and Control System – Maritime
