We are seeking Farsi (Iranian Persian) Over-the-Phone Interpreters to support our USCIS contract. Farsi is a priority language for immigration contexts. Responsibilities
Provide real-time Farsi (Iranian Persian) English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and official proceedings. Deliver interpretation with accuracy, neutrality, and professionalism in immigration and legal contexts. Adhere to USCIS/DHS interpreter ethics and confidentiality standards. Manage both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge requests. Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and QA audits. Qualifications
Native or near-native fluency in Farsi (Iranian Persian) and English. 2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, legal, medical, or government strongly preferred). Familiarity with interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and cultural awareness. Excellent telephone communication skills; ability to remain impartial and accurate under pressure. Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 clearance. Compensation & Benefits
