The School of Architecture and Environment (SAE) invites applicants for temporary, part-time, limited duration research positions in the Department of Architecture, the Historic Preservation Program, the Department of Interior Architecture, and the Department of Landscape Architecture. Landscape Architecture and Interior Architecture positions are located on the main Eugene campus along with the majority of Architecture positions. Historic Preservation positions and a small number of Architecture positions are located in Portland. Duties:
Duties typically are based on grant-funded project-specific needs, but include:
Site evaluations or modeling Project coordination Interviews Data collection and/or analysis Connections to professional practice and to emerging technology and ideas in the professions are highly desirable. Minimum Requirements:
A master's degree in a relevant field, such as architecture, landscape architecture or historic preservation. A professional degree or PhD is preferred. In exceptional circumstances, significant professional experience in a relevant field may substitute for the advanced degree. All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
