Join Central Counties Services as a Community Based Therapist/Clinician. The minimum starting hourly rate is $27.44, with the maximum rate dependent on qualifications. MST is an intensive family- and community-based treatment program that addresses all environments impacting high-risk youth. MST clinicians conduct assessments, engage primary caregivers and key participants, implement problem conceptualization and treatment planning, and maintain clear documentation. Conduct MST assessments, including review of referral information and identification of systemic strengths and weaknesses. Engage primary caregivers and other key participants in active change-oriented treatment. Implement a problem conceptualization, treatment planning, intervention implementation, outcomes review, and strategy revision procedure using the MST Analytic Process. Maintain clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts. Ability to engage and collaborate with all relevant systems and key participants. Provide direct clinical treatment using methods compatible with MST principles and practices. Participate in all MST training, supervision, consultation, and MST Therapist development activities. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Provide clinical treatment to families using the MST treatment model and principles. Conduct thorough assessments of clients and families. Engage in weekly case planning and evaluation of case progress. Receive regular training, professional development, supervision, and consultation activities. Work comfortably with a diverse community of clients. Learn how to effectively connect with families in the communities served. Continuously work to engage primary caregivers, family members, supports, and community agency staff in change-oriented treatment. Develop and implement individualized program plans. Maintain clients’ progress records. Serve as liaison between clients and their families, judicial systems, and treatment providers. GENERAL QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field from a four-year college or university, with a minimum of two years of experience working in services for families and/or youth. Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field. Minimum of two years of experience working in services for families and/or youth. Preferred Experience
Master’s degree in clinical or counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related subject area. Professional licensure as an LP, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT (LPHA). Direct use of pragmatic family therapies. Therapy with children and adults using cognitive-behavioral techniques. Implementation of interventions within or between systems in the youth’s natural ecology. Collaboration and partnership with community agencies. Previous work providing in-home or community-based therapy services. Bilingual: English and Spanish. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Knowledge of community resources and case management principles. Ability to assess client needs and coordinate client services. Ability to proficiently utilize computer programs, e.g., Microsoft Word and Excel. Skill in interviewing. Ability to see, hear, and talk effectively within job requirements. Relationship Skills
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to work cooperatively and productively with supervisor, individuals, co-workers, and groups of persons. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, other agencies, and the general public. Additional Requirements
Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Regular attendance and reliability are critical to business operations.
