Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve handling calls from various sectors—ranging from healthcare consultations to legal discussions—where your ability to interpret accurately and impartially will be crucial. Provide consecutive interpretation services via telephone or video calls on demand for clients requiring Mandarin or Cantonese to English translation and vice versa. Ensure accurate and neutral interpretation between English and Mandarin or Cantonese speakers during sensitive conversations across multiple industries. Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold professionalism in all client interactions to foster trust and reliability. Adapt quickly to interpreting requirements across diverse sectors such as healthcare, government agencies, insurance companies, financial institutions, law enforcement bodies, and general business environments. Utilise correct industry-specific terminology at all times and clarify cultural concepts when necessary with client approval to ensure mutual understanding. Follow detailed client instructions closely while consistently meeting established productivity standards for call volume and quality. Demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity in every interaction to facilitate respectful and effective communication between parties. Remain impartial under pressure while delivering high-quality interpretation services even during complex or emotionally charged situations. Leverage excellent active listening skills along with note-taking and memory retention techniques to provide precise interpretations without omissions or additions. What You Bring
