Responsibilities

Support environmental and stormwater compliance projects, including helping clients comply with stormwater regulations and prevent pollutants from leaving project boundaries. Conduct stormwater inspections, develop and implement Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) and/or site stabilization plans. Conduct stormwater sampling, desktop evaluations, on-site training for construction crews, and prepare related documentation and reporting. Work under supervision/guidance of more senior staff on routine and complex projects; participate in special initiatives or projects as assigned. Travel and some overnight travel will be required, with periodic weekends and overtime as needed. Qualifications

Required BS or BA degree, preferably in an environmental discipline, sciences, or engineering At least 2+ years of relevant experience supporting SWPPP, including sampling and analysis, non-storm water and storm water visual observations, and preparation of Rain Event Action Plans, environmental restoration, landscape construction, and erosion control Knowledge of water quality or stormwater management information, techniques, practices, laws, and regulations in the field Knowledge of the California State Water Board Permits Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Preferred Current QSP / QSD Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire) Relevant certifications such as CESSWI, CPESC, CPSWQ, QISP, PE, or PG (in California) Cross-training in natural resources including wetlands and/or environmental permitting Experience with the California SMARTS system and familiarity with CASQA Construction Handbook ArcGIS Pro competency Salary

Salary Range: 60,000-120,000 Benefits
