Job Summary

The Subaru Automotive Sales Professional speaks to customers on the dealership lot, company sponsored events, or leads from the BDC to determine customer needs and/or desires for a vehicle. By using excellent customer satisfaction and sales skills, sales professionals will sell vehicles. This position is not ‘remote work’ capable and requires punctual, consistent, and regular attendance for all scheduled shifts. Missed work affects the day-to-day operations of the company. This in turn negatively impacts fellow employees through lowered morale and / or lost income opportunities Duties and Responsibilities

Job duties for the Subaru Sales Professional include but are not limited to: Acts as a good will ambassador for the dealership by promoting professionalism and displaying excellent customer satisfaction skills. Approaches and assists new customers that enter the dealership lot. Determine the needs of the customer by listening and asking questions. Performs walk-around with customer and demonstrate features of suitable automobiles. Masters the features on all vehicles. Ensures the customer understands the vehicle’s operating features, warranty and paperwork. Completes franchise required training and attends sales meetings. Meets monthly sales goals. Performs all duties in a safe manner following all company safety guidelines and policies. Performs other duties as requested or required. Qualifications

Two years in a sales environment is preferred. Good communication skills, negotiation skils, multi-tasking skills and computer skills are a must. High school diploma or the equivalent is required. Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

Candidate must be able to move about the complex in all weather conditions. Extended working hours may be required, which may include working at nighttime or weekends.
