UNC Police is seeking to hire qualified individuals as sworn Reserve Police Officers to serve in a part-time capacity. Responsibilities
Work a minimum of three (3) home football games, four (4) home basketball games, and two (2) additional events such as plays, concerts, lectures, and celebrations. Reserve Police Officers are not assigned to patrol squads and do not assist with patrol shift coverage. Maintain uniformed police status and adhere to the Department’s General Orders (G.O.). Uniforms, duty belts, and appropriate department-issued duty gear are provided; applicants must provide their own shoes in accordance with G.O. These are at-will, intermittent temporary positions.
