Riverhead Building Supply is a large corporate leader in building supplies with over 800 employees across Long Island, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. We are seeking a high‑energy sales professional to drive sales of windows, doors, trim, architectural hardware, and wood flooring both on the sales floor and in the field.
Base pay range
– $75,000.00/yr – $75,000.00/yr (commensurate with experience, with earnings potential up to $95k).
Responsibilities
Focus on millswork items such as windows, doors, trim, architectural hardware, and wood flooring.
Develop product expertise in Marvin and Andersen products.
Work with contractors, architects, homeowners, and the outside sales team to provide millwork solutions.
Assist customers in a fast‑paced, demanding environment, maintaining a professional demeanor and appearance.
Display products using samples or catalogs, emphasizing sellable features.
Qualifications
Well‑spoken with a professional appearance, familiar with high‑end sales.
Field experience is required (use of AS400 and CRM essential).
Strong mathematical, language, computer, and email skills.
Organizational, multi‑tasking, and multi‑tasking skills essential.
