Responsible for Cafe/Dining Room services for all staff, volunteers, and visitors of South Shore Hospital. Independently establishes and maintains active communication with staff to ensure a pleasant, clean, and safe work environment. Enhances the hospital experience by providing appropriate hospitality and food services. Represents the hospital appropriately to all audiences, reflecting well on the hospital’s reputation and image. Work schedule: 3‑8, 3:45‑8, or 4‑8 weekdays; 6:30‑3, 11‑7:30, 3:45‑8, or 4‑8 weekends and school breaks. Weekends and holidays (including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years) are required. Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities (If Required):
Provide outstanding food service to patients, staff, volunteers, and visitors.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
Follow all hospital policies and procedures for food service.
Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies.
Collaborate with nursing and dietary staff to coordinate meal deliveries.
Handle any customer service concerns promptly and professionally.
