Optimize sales and maintain profitability by guiding customers toward high-priority and best-selling products. Build customer relationships to understand their needs and ensure a positive shopping experience both in-store and remotely. Leverage expertise in IKEA's multi-channel retail offerings, empowering customers to shop seamlessly both in-store and remotely, whenever and however they choose. Utilize fundamental measurement and construction techniques, with an understanding of modular furniture planning and basic design principles to create planning solutions that meet customers’ needs. Keep the area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked. Ensure basic merchandising standards are in place to give customers a positive shopping experience. Share enthusiasm for IKEA products by expanding knowledge of their features and benefits to guide customers’ decisions. Understand the store and department action plans and actively contribute to achieving the department's goals. Offer all IKEA services to help customers make informed choices and improve their shopping experience. Analyze and adjust sales space capacities based on system parameters to secure high stock availability. Support the implementation and upkeep of planned and commercial activities within your range. Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers. Benefits and hours
Hours: 34-40 hours per week. Must have complete open working availability throughout the week, Mondays to Sundays between 9:00 AM and 10:30 PM. The hourly pay rate range for this role is $22.77 - $32.50. Benefits eligible. Qualifications
2-3 years of relevant work experience. High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent. Experience in retail sales, preferably in the home furnishing sector. Experience in actively selling through understanding customers and their needs. Note: The starting rate/salary for this position ranges from 22.77 USD to 32.5 USD and will be based on relevant work experience.
