Cambridge International Systems, Inc. has a full-time remote Capture and Account Manager opportunity. Qualified candidates for this job must possess a current DoD Secret security clearance.
Role and Responsibilities
Develop current accounts of major significance and establish long-term strategic plans for retaining and growing these accounts.
Build new accounts and win new opportunities; identify and develop opportunities for business expansion in the Government marketplace.
Support the development of customer or market penetration strategies, individual opportunity win strategies, campaign plans, and partnering strategies.
Gather market and competitor information to identify trends, forecast demand, and support annual budgeting.
Conduct reviews on accounts to evaluate client demands and usage, determine services/products and pricing to satisfy client needs and organizational objectives.
Attend strategic networking engagements and industry days as a Cambridge representative (in person and virtual).
Communicate progress at all stages, prepare reports, briefings, and gate reviews using Cambridge tools and processes.
Analyze RFP/RFQ/RFI documents to assess requirements and develop proposal narratives and pricing strategies that demonstrate our value proposition.
Support opportunity schedule development and capture approach for successful delivery of strategic programs.
Understand competitor capabilities and devise plans to position Cambridge for success in pursuits aligned with our capabilities.
Apply facilitation, leadership, and communication skills to lead capture through the pursuit lifecycle.
Develop compelling opportunity teaming and partnerships to increase P-Win and favorable financial, contractual, and quality outcomes.
Use knowledge of customer mission experiences to gain customer intimacy and develop requirements understanding for improved account management.
The Capture and Account Manager will contribute to pipeline development by identifying and qualifying opportunities, support proposal development, and maintain well-coordinated internal relationships with key decision makers. Collaboration with the Cambridge Proposal Operations team is expected to maintain a team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
Must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) with 10 - 12 years of experience or a Master's Degree (or equivalent) with 8 – 10 years of experience
Track record of successfully managing multiple accounts/programs and capturing/retaining business
Understanding of the DoD market sector and acquisition process, with demonstrated achievement in multiple DoD customer domains
Excellent written, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to write executive summaries, cover letters, and other proposal sections
Ability and desire to take on new challenges and highly technical pursuits for new work
Proficiency with computers and other tools and systems pertinent to the position
Desired Qualifications
Prior military service desired; USAF preferred
Technical background desired; cybersecurity expertise (incident response, security engineering, or assessment and authorization) preferred
International business experience desired
Knowledge of Shipley BD/Capture/Proposal process a plus
GovWin / GovTribe experience desired
CRM software experience preferred
Travel Requirements
Ability to travel up to 30%, both CONUS and OCONUS; overnight travel may be required in rare cases
Active passport in support of OCONUS travel and/or living requirements
Physical Environment and Working Conditions
Vaccination requirements per TDY/OCONUS policies; current vaccination requirements by location may apply
Office setting: comfortable, with ability to work at a desk and on a computer
