We look for opportunities for savings in the area of state and local taxes (SALT). Our SALT team has extensive training in tax accounting, tax law, compliance, audits, and economic development benefits, with experience across many states. Our SALT solutions cover sales and use taxes, income, franchise taxes, property taxes, credits and incentives, and multi-state sales & use taxes. How You Will Contribute Understanding sales & use taxes Identifying optimal filing options Analyzing and reviewing apportionment information Identifying engagement and operating opportunities for improvement, providing timely solutions and consultation Understanding nexus and revenue sourcing issues Managing multiple engagements within deadlines Researching tax issues Managing client relationships, billings, and resources Preparing technical memorandums Providing audit assistance Assisting with state income tax compliance Developing and coaching staff We Are Looking For People With Forward Vision And Experience managing multiple client engagements Team and engagement management skills Innovative servicing ideas High-level analytical skills Ability to meet deadlines Client relationship understanding Proficiency with Microsoft Office Attention to detail with big picture awareness Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's in Accounting or related field 5+ years of professional experience, including public accounting CPA, J.D., or L.L.M preferred Additional Information Pursuant to Illinois' Equal Pay Act, the salary range for Illinois is $80,000 - $140,000, based on experience and education.
