Account Managers perform routine responsibilities and are the primary points of contact for clients they oversee. They are individual contributors with occasional guidance or direct supervision. Account Managers apply the principles of insurance to everyday situations, develop coverage strategies and plans, and perform routine responsibilities. Responsibilities

Perform daily service on assigned tasks by Producers and/or Account Executives according to the agency’s written procedures, including but not limited to: Service accounts, including transactions such as quote and issue policies, ID cards, endorsements, certificates, claims, renewals, follow-up, and correspondence. Respond to client inquiries, incoming mail, and company requests in a timely manner. Insurance marketing and sales. Collect renewal data on assigned accounts. Claims support. Develop coverage strategies and plans as necessary. Review new/renewal policies and endorsements to ensure items were received as ordered. Maintain accuracy of client data in the agency management system (Applied Systems / EPIC). Document all activities in the agency management system (Applied Systems / EPIC). Understand and utilize upload, download and interface technology. Assist other departments in securing or providing information necessary to issue appropriate policies for mutual clients. Keep Producers informed of important activities on their accounts and alert management to potential problems. Stay current with industry trends by participating in educational seminars and classes for improvement of insurance/sales skills and license compliance. Maintain knowledge of current underwriting requirements of contracted carriers and policy provisions. Complete other functions and assignments as needed, including back-up duties. Requirements

Active Property & Casualty License Required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to discern priority and initiative. Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication, and strong interpersonal skills. Mathematical skills: ability to calculate figures such as discounts, premiums, commissions, proportions and percentages. Reasoning skills: ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions. Applied Systems / EPIC experience is a plus. Knows and applies principles of insurance to everyday situations. Education/Experience

High School diploma required; Associate Degree or higher preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial lines. CPCU or special training course completion a plus. Benefits & Perks

This reflects Acrisure’s good faith estimate at the time of posting. Placement within the range will be based on factors including skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.
