Sr. Account Executive - Tax/Trade - Texas (Remote based role; candidate must live in or be close to assigned territory. The assigned territory would cover TX.) The position is responsible for developing account plans for new and/or existing accounts, prospecting new customers and expanding business at existing customers, and closing full solution sales to corporate customers. Responsibilities

Prospecting: Actively seek out new business opportunities with both new and existing customers to build a strong sales pipeline. Maintain a clean and up‑to‑date pipeline, aiming for 3–4 times coverage of your sales targets on a monthly and quarterly basis. Account Management: Handle a list of major accounts (companies with revenues of $500M+) and lead the entire sales process through account planning, initial contact, deal closing to renewal. Sales Goals: Meet or exceed revenue targets. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with other teams to tailor solutions to address customer needs. Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers and stakeholders, and demonstrate how Thomson Reuters solutions address their challenges. Salesforce Maintenance: Regularly update the CRM (Salesforce) to maintain accurate records and provide reliable sales forecasts. Engage in direct client meetings in person or via platforms like MS Teams. Qualifications (About You)

Proven ability to sell complex software solutions to large enterprises (revenues of $500M+), using a consultative and value‑based approach. Experience selling to C‑level executives with a solution selling approach; ability to identify business challenges and their impact if not solved. Skilled in leading detailed sales processes involving various stakeholders; ability to develop and execute an account plan. Strong understanding of artificial intelligence and its applications in enhancing legal department operations. Enthusiastic about prospecting and able to manage the entire sales cycle independently from initiation to close. Ability to work with teams across departments (marketing, product, legal) to achieve shared objectives. Eager to help refine sales strategies, enhance sales team culture, improve the company’s value proposition, and develop sales tools. College degree preferred with a minimum of 7 years direct field sales experience (corporate sector experience preferred) with a proven track record of quota attainment. Self-starter with a growth mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and change; able to work from a home office and travel to customer sites 25–50%. What’s in it For You?

The company discloses pay ranges where required by law. For eligible US locations, the target total cash compensation range for this role is $178,500 - $331,500 (base pay plus target sales incentive).
