The Account Executive is a field-based, direct sales role responsible for client retention and growth through contract expansion and introducing new products and services. You will consult with C-level executives to develop and implement enterprise-wide strategies that maximize the value of Gartner’s products and services. What you’ll do
Manage accounts to increase customer satisfaction, retention, and growth Achieve a quota of $800,000+ in contract value within a territory of major client accounts Master and execute Gartner’s sales methodology Plan accounts and manage territory effectively Maintain forecast accuracy on a regular basis Stay informed about competitors and focus on Gartner’s offerings Develop in-depth knowledge of Gartner’s products and services What you’ll need
6-10 years of proven consultative sales experience, preferably in high tech sectors Strong intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales skills Experience building relationships with C-level executives in large enterprises Proficiency in computer and presentation skills Knowledge of the full sales cycle Bachelor’s or master’s degree (desired) What you will get
