Position Summary The Territory Account Specialist manages assigned accounts within a territory, focusing on food safety and sanitation audits, chemical training, dispenser installation, and maintenance in retail accounts. The role involves training customer staff, recommending corrective actions, and maintaining high standards of sales and service, including responding to customer service calls.

Responsibilities

Manage a designated territory, perform food safety and sanitation audits, and service dispensing equipment.

Train customer staff on product use, systems, and sanitation procedures.

Drive sales through inventory assessments and solution recommendations.

Install and maintain chemical dispensing equipment.

Identify sanitation violations, recommend corrective actions, and communicate issues to relevant teams.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Ensure proper maintenance of equipment, vehicles, and company property; complete reports and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least 2 years of experience in food safety or sanitation.

Proficiency in Email, Excel, and Word.

Valid US Driver’s License.

Ability to travel 50%, including overnight stays.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, professionalism, organization, and self-motivation.

Excellent communication, decision-making, and human relations skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in environmental health, science, biology, or related fields.

Experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of ware wash equipment.

NEHA-CP-FS certification or willingness to obtain within one year; other relevant certifications preferred.
