Overview

We are hiring for a Hospice Account Executive at Heart of Hospice, part of LHC Group, in Monroe, LA. This is a sales role focused on growing hospice services through education, relationship building, and community outreach. Responsibilities

Build collaborative working relationships both internally and externally. Act as a steward of the company\'s financial resources by projecting ROI and managing to a marketing expense budget. Execute effective sales calls that identify and meet the needs of the referral community; clearly communicate the features and benefits of LHC Group. Perform pre- and post-call planning, establish rapport, ask effective questions, propose solutions, handle objections, and close sales. Implement weekly, monthly, and quarterly strategies to increase market share through key account development, prospecting/diversification, and optimized call frequency/routing. Plan activities to maximize territory coverage of existing and prospective accounts. Participate in strategic planning and problem solving related to marketing growth strategies and community education. Achieve admission goals/expectations as established at hire or during agency budget reviews. Complete assignments timely as requested by supervisor; attend staff meetings to update accounts and progress toward growth strategies. Coordinate in-services with community and medical-based groups to educate them on hospice services as needed. Check e-mail daily and respond to messages within 24 business hours. Handle sales administration duties including CRM compliance, expense reports, payroll time sheets, medical director time sheets, strategic territory planning, PTO requests, and related paperwork. Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required Education Desired

Bachelor\'s Degree preferred Two to three years of prior successful hospice sales experience preferred Skill Requirements

Professional and effective interaction with a variety of individuals Creativity and ability to generate ideas for marketing and community education Strong communication skills with a positive, outgoing attitude Excellent time management and organizational skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Independent transportation with a valid driver\'s license; willing to drive as needed Some understanding of home health/hospice coverage issues Ability to maximize cost effectiveness in resource use Company Overview
