Verkada is building a world-class sales organization and seeks motivated, results-driven sales professionals to join our Mid-Market Select team. This team drives new business acquisition within the largest, most strategic segment of Mid-Market. What You'll Do

Source and cultivate opportunities: Proactively identify and pursue new strategic business opportunities within Select Named Accounts. Conduct strategic outbound prospecting via phone, email, in-person field events, and online outreach to generate leads. Manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact to close, with a focus on meeting or exceeding quarterly sales quotas. Conduct online demos, create compelling proposals, and participate in demos, trials, and proofs of concept to showcase Verkada's value proposition. Create effective presentations and proposals; drive deal closure by creating urgency and negotiating pricing and contractual terms. Territory planning and forecasting: Develop and implement a strategic territory plan to maximize opportunities within the Select segment; maintain accurate pipeline and contribute to forecasting. Customer engagement and consultation: Act as a trusted advisor to customers in the Select segment, understand their needs, and recommend Verkada solutions. Collaborate with channel partners to enhance customer relationships and drive successful launches; initiate and manage expansion discussions to drive retention, identifying customers’ goals, budgets, and key decision makers. What You Bring

Minimum 4-9 years of sales experience in a quota-carrying role; Hunter mentality with a proven track record in prospecting, closing new logos, and winning accounts against incumbents; Effective communication skills to build rapport, nurture relationships, and deliver compelling presentations; Ability to thrive in a dynamic, competitive startup environment; Tenacity, drive to learn, and self-motivation; Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; Experience with Salesforce, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo & Outreach is a plus; Knowledge and execution of MEDDPICC is preferred; Ability to collaborate with internal teams: Channel, Sales Engineering, and Marketing; Willingness to travel for customer meetings and team collaborations. Annual Pay Range At Verkada, compensation reflects location, skills, and experience, with on-target earnings (OTE) for full-time roles including base and commissions. The range shown includes base salary and potential commissions; actual compensation will vary.
