Charlotte, NC (Territory-Based) Overview: ASI Sign Systems is seeking a driven and self-motivated

Sales Consultant

to join our growing team in Charlotte, NC. This role is responsible for generating leads, building relationships, and closing sales within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate has a background in signage, construction, or architectural products and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Key Responsibilities: Achieve sales quotas and gross profit targets as defined in the compensation plan. Develop and manage a territory plan to efficiently identify and target qualified prospects. Generate leads using multiple channels: cold calling, referrals, trade directories, canvassing, and inbound inquiries. Follow up on leads provided by marketing or company initiatives. Cultivate long-term relationships with clients, architects, general contractors, and facility managers to drive repeat business and referrals. Assess client needs and align them with ASI’s product and service offerings. Collaborate with Estimating and Project Services teams to prepare and deliver professional proposals and quotations. Provide complete and accurate project details to support production and installation efforts. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ASI’s materials, processes, and installation methods. Accurately track activity in CRM and prepare regular reports, forecasts, and expense submissions. Adhere to company policies regarding pricing, deposits, terms, and documentation requirements. Participate in training and development opportunities as directed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred (Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field). Proven success in B2B sales; signage, architectural products, construction, or graphics industry experience is highly desirable. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-starter with strong time management and organizational abilities. Detail-oriented and committed to quality customer service. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
