Our European office is seeking an experienced
Institutional Sales
professional to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual
passionate about
selling both execution services and equity research
while expanding their institutional sales business.
Responsibilities
Manage the full sales cycle: from prospecting and pitching to client onboarding, account management, and long-term relationship building.
Leverage your network to strengthen client relationships, drive business growth, and expand Velocity’s market presence.
Design and execute a commercial strategy focused on client acquisition, retention, and showcasing Velocity’s expertise in innovative investment solutions.
Collaborate with other business lines and global offices to enhance service offerings and client satisfaction.
Partner with internal support teams to ensure seamless service delivery, contributing to Velocity Trade’s global success.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or a related field.
At least 7 years experience in cross-asset sales and equity research distribution.
A strong network of institutional clients with established top-tier and mid-market relationships (Pan-Euro coverage).
An existing client base with the capacity to bring relationships and business to Velocity will be essential .
Proven self-starter with a results-driven mindset, thriving in fast-paced environments.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
Knowledge across multiple asset classes is a plus.
Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
