Responsibilities
Meet with relevant points of contact and persevere to nurture a business relationship.
Manage the sales cycle, collaborating with internal partners in the design & development of packaging solutions.
Prospect for new sales opportunities by identifying leads and planning to engage potential customers.
Take the lead on contract negotiations and secure the sale.
Maintain partnerships with customers, ensuring Plastipak brings value (inventory, accruals, rebates, negotiations & amortization agreements).
Establish budgets and forecast growth potential for your territory.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or Packaging Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing sales experience in the consumer brand industry, ideally in rigid plastics or other packaging.
Proven track record of achieving & exceeding sales goals.
Ability to travel 50–75%.
Prior experience using SAP is a plus.
Earnings
$100,000 – $120,000, based on qualifications and experience.
Eligible for an annual/quarterly bonus based on individual & company performance.
