$85,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr WHO WE ARE: IFC Solutions is a key ingredient provider to the food, beverage, cosmetic and personal care industries. We have a wide portfolio of product offerings including food colors, release agents/processing aides, and emulsifiers that we sell to manufacturing companies all over the world. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We’re looking for someone with a “can do” attitude and is willing to work in a fast-paced environment taking on multiple responsibilities. You need to have previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally sales or in a technical position, where you previously sold ingredients to food, beverage or personal care manufacturers. You should be comfortable working interdepartmentally to help see projects through from beginning to end. Ideal applicants will be natural problem solvers, have a keen eye for details, have an ability to multi-task and excellent communication skills. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree. Relevant sales or technical experience selling food or cosmetic ingredients to manufacturers. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills (English). A high degree of competency with Microsoft products as well as an aptitude and willingness to learn new software. Experience with CRM systems and tracking customer communication and sales pipelines Ability to multi-task and a strong attention to detail WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES: This will be a customer-facing role to help educate our customers of our product lines and to learn what products best suit their needs. This role will include everything from fielding incoming customer calls and emails, to product sample follow up, to getting customers product info and pricing to close sales. Take over some existing accounts to maintain and build on the existing business. Turn prospects into satisfied customers by learning their requirements and providing the appropriate samples and product information. Work with existing customers to expand the use of our products. Interface with our Lab as required as they work to develop innovative formulations to meet specific customer needs. Help coordinate marketing and trade show related activities. Interface with our Ingredient Brokers and International Distributors. May need to represent the company at regional supplier events (i.e. IFT Supplier Nights) and be part of the sales team at larger national trade shows. Participating in all sales meetings and contributing improvements and recommendations where possible.
