Overview
Meet or exceeds set expectations as a dedicated account manager, licensed broker, and internal liaison for a specific "book of business" that is based on revenue and/or enrollment. Account Manager II helps create bonds with Paychex customers and will fuel customer success, retention, growth, and customer advocacy. This role generates value for our customers by helping them develop strategies to onboard, adopt, and successfully utilize Paychex products to achieve their desired outcomes. The results of an Account Manager II efforts should lead to healthy, adopted, referenceable customers that achieve value-based outcomes and are eager to expand their use of Paychex Insurance Agency products across their organization. Responsibilities
Proactively understanding client benefit offering and making recommendations through creative plan designs and carrier negotiations to help clients make informed decisions on their benefit decisions. Using telephone conversations to drive client growth through increased employee participation and enhancing benefits package with additional lines of coverage during renewal. Ensuring each client has the best products that lowers their risk to loss and is provided a high-level quality of customer service to compliment those products. Responsible for achieving client retention targets for assigned portfolio in alignment with the Agency's financial objectives by maintaining service quality standards, including response times and urgent enrollment processes. Utilizes Salesforce to assess potential risks within the client portfolio, devising and implementing strategic action plans aimed at client retention. Serves as an intermediary between the policyholder, Insurance Carrier/General Agent, and internal stakeholders to guarantee delivery of superior customer service. Responsible for meeting specific client retention goals for assigned book of business in support of Agency financial goals, and meeting service level goals including response time and quality standards. Holding virtual or onsite open enrollment meetings to increase employee participation and drive revenue growth. Educating client on how to use and gain benefits from BenAdmin and insurance product(s). Educating client employees during annual enrollment on how to use and gain benefits from BenAdmin and insurance products. Maintain strong relationships with sales and implementation partners to effectively transition clients from sales to service. As well as mentoring high potential and newly hired Account Managers. Maintain state specific insurance industry and ACA compliance knowledge using internal and external knowledge resources, including annual mandatory CE credits. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree - Preferred 3 years of experience in Health benefits insurance product knowledge to advise clients accurately and tailor fit to their needs. Relevant Insurance License. This role requires eligibility for applicable insurance licensing in all 50 states, which may involve an enhanced background check. If not licensed, you must obtain the necessary license(s) within 90 calendar days of the official start date. Paychex Insurance Agency will cover costs for up to two attempts to pass a state licensing exam; additional attempts are at the employee’s expense.
