Responsibilities As a Home Services Inspector, you’ll be responsible for understanding Orkin’s termite protection services and how to make strategic recommendations to customers. By performing 360 inspections from attics to crawlspaces and everything in between, you’ll solve problems and build trusted relationships to protect homes and families. You’ll listen to customer needs and clearly explain practical solutions to win their trust.

Serve as a problem solver by using in-depth training to decide the best overall pest solution for each customer’s needs
Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads with a robust advertising budget to provide leads
Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes to explain Orkin’s products and services
Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home and make recommendations based on findings
Stay organized and prepare sales agreements using a company-provided iPad with training provided

Qualifications No experience required — we’ll train you!
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid)
Ability to work in the field independently and interact with customers
Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws during employment
Work Environment Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform duties with or without accommodations:
Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including climbing or balancing and kneeling or crawling
Wear PPE which may include an OSHA-compliant respirator
Willing to work in different weather conditions
