$24.10/hr - $27.30/hr Position Details

Fitness instructors are responsible for planning and teaching classes that may include

Zumba, Barre, Boot Camp, HIIT Circuit, Kickboxing, Low-Impact Aerobics, Step, and others . Instructors with experience in other classes are encouraged to apply. We are in need of Zumba and Yoga Instructors: MOSSA Certified, Silver Sneakers & SAIL (Staying Active & Independent for Life). Classes are offered Mon-Fri from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday-Thursday evenings from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Saturday mornings from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The work schedule will be determined by the Fitness Coordinator. Primary Duties

Participate in fitness team meetings and promote a supportive environment. Lead classes and demonstrate safe exercise execution. Monitor participants and provide coaching on proper form. Assist members with goal setting and attainment. Instruct classes virtually on Zoom; training and equipment provided. Instruct in a hybrid format with online and in-person participants. Follow health guidelines, including mask-wearing if required. Ensure equipment is cleaned and sanitized after each class. Working Conditions & Physical Activities

Work takes place in a community center fitness setting. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, run, and lift. Minimum Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years old. Current or obtain CPR certification before start date. Fitness Instructor Certification or MOSSA Certification. Ability to pass a background check. Additional Information
