From preschool through 12th grade, students are prepared for success in college, life, and beyond. Catholic schools are communities where educators and families partner to develop the “Whole Child”: Mind, Body, and Spirit. Our schools are located from Bellingham to Vancouver and Port Angeles to Issaquah. The Role The Archdiocese of Seattle seeks talented, passionate, and engaging substitute teachers for all grades and subjects. This recruitment may be used for daily, weekly, and long-term temporary opportunities. Applicants will be entered into our substitute work pool (hosted on Frontline/Aesop), where you can specify preferred schools. You may be contacted for work based on your experience and interests. This position requires applicants to be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application. Responsibilities Teach various courses as assigned. Follow school rules, policies, and procedures. Communicate effectively with school leadership and teachers. Participate in school events when needed. Qualifications Experience working with students in an educational setting or similar. Ability to supervise and manage students effectively. Ability to facilitate classroom instruction and implement lesson plans. Commitment to working in a Catholic environment supporting the development of confident, competent, and courageous young people prepared to lead in a multicultural world.
