Recruit and hire store associates to serve customers Foster growth and development of associates through training on operations and merchandising, coaching when appropriate Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations Ensure full compliance with applicable laws and company policies and procedures Perform opening and closing procedures as needed Implement operational and merchandising direction from corporate headquarters Help the store reach its maximum profit contribution Protect company assets Maintain a high level of customer service across the store Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions among customers, associates, and leaders Skills and Experience
Minimum 3 years of prior retail management experience preferred Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus Strong productivity management in freight processing Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment Physical ability to lift 30-50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodations Perks and Benefits
