We’re recruiting on behalf of a client seeking a
Process Safety & Compliance Coordinator
to join their team in
Cincinnati, Ohio . This is a full-time, onsite position within a PSM-covered facility, ideal for a candidate experienced in
ammonia refrigeration ,
OSHA 1910.119 , and cross-functional safety leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Support and maintain all elements of the facility’s PSM and EPA RMP programs
Lead or assist with PHA, MOC, PSSR, incident investigations, and safety audits
Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to manage and mitigate process safety risks
Ensure all documentation and records (SOPs, P&IDs, training logs) are complete and up to date
Deliver or coordinate safety training on PSM-related topics and regulatory standards
Provide technical support for systems involving anhydrous ammonia (NH3) or similar regulated substances
Track safety metrics and contribute to the site’s continuous improvement culture
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a PSM-covered facility (required)
Working knowledge of OSHA 1910.119, EPA RMP, and ammonia system safety
Familiarity with MOC, PHA, PSSR, and mechanical integrity practices
Strong attention to detail, documentation, and cross-functional coordination
Certifications such as OSHA 30, RETA CIRO/CARO, or related credentials are a plus
Compensation & Details
Salary: $70,000 – $90,000, based on experience
Full benefits package
