High School Math Teacher (Bilingual Mandarin)
We are seeking a passionate and bilingual High School STEM instructor to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Mathematics and/or STEM fields and a minimum of two years of high school teaching experience. Experience in SAT Math instruction is strongly preferred. This position requires subject-matter expertise and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly in a culturally diverse, bilingual learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Teach bilingual high school students in subjects such as
Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Physics, and/or Computer Science . Deliver focused instruction on
SAT Math
content, including problem-solving strategies, data analysis, and algebraic reasoning. Design engaging, standards-based lessons that promote
critical thinking, STEM literacy, and student-centered learning . Adapt instruction to meet the needs of bilingual/ESL students with varying levels of academic and language proficiency. Use
formative and summative assessments
to evaluate student learning and provide individualized feedback. Promote a
respectful, inclusive, and academically rigorous
classroom environment. Collaborate with colleagues across departments to support
interdisciplinary projects
and enhance school-wide academic initiatives. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in
Mathematics, Engineering, Education, or a related STEM discipline . Minimum
two years of high school tutoring experience
in STEM subjects. Strong classroom management, lesson planning, and communication skills. Familiarity with
U.S. high school standards and assessment practices . Commitment to advancing STEM education and supporting diverse learners. Preferred Qualifications Valid
teaching credential
or subject-area certification (preferred but not required). Experience teaching
international, ESL, or bilingual
students. Knowledge of
AP-level Math or Science curriculum . $5,000–$5,500/month + teaching hour bonus 401(k) plan
