North Shore Country Day School . North Shore Country Day (NSCD) seeks substitute teachers for day/multi-day coverage of classes in our lower, middle, and upper schools. Compensation is on a per diem basis. Essential Job Functions
Work with the appropriate divisional administrative assistant to execute responsibilities related to the academic program. When substitute teaching, follow the curriculum developed by the regular teacher. Maintain a professional, positive, and constructive relationship with students, teachers, administrators, and staff. Understand that the property of the School is communal. Support and actively participate in the disciplinary guidelines of the School, respecting the integrity of each child. Be available to work from 7:45 to 3:30 on weekdays and be ready to fill additional duties beyond classroom coverage when asked (e.g., playground supervision, lunchroom supervision). Have a working knowledge of technology such as laptops, iPads, projectors, and relevant software necessary for curriculum implementation. Qualities and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required. Degree work in a field related to education. Seniority level
