It also owns and operates brick-and-mortar casinos and a racino venue. Job Description This hybrid position involves responsibilities as a Route Security Officer and Route Technician. Key duties include providing safety and security, surveying risks, servicing gaming equipment, enforcing rules, assisting law enforcement, and recommending security improvements. Duties and Responsibilities Provide security to collection teams and drive follow vehicles for transit security. Conduct site surveys and assess safety risks rapidly. Maintain communication and documentation related to route activities and security protocols. Respond to emergencies, including workplace violence and medical incidents. Maintain certifications and licenses, including CPR/AED and possibly a Terminal Handler’s License. Qualifications Active or retired Illinois law enforcement officer with at least 4 years of experience. Minimum of 4 years in private security. Valid driver’s license, clean record, and ability to obtain a Terminal Handler’s License. Strong communication, problem-solving, and tactical skills. Physical Demands & Work Environment Frequent standing, walking, driving, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Exposure to weather and noise, use of protective equipment, and physical techniques for restraint.
