Overview Carle Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our growing Outpatient Gastroenterology team in Peoria and Pekin, Illinois.
Responsibilities
Perform H&P on new patients and see return patients for GI conditions including autoimmune diseases, hepatitis, viral hepatitis, IBS, Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, GERD, anemia, dysphagia, pancreatitis, diverticulitis, celiac disease, and exocrine pancreatic insufficiency.
Order and interpret labs and imaging results; prescribe medications; order procedures such as EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, and EUS; follow up after procedures to review pathology with the patient.
Work within a cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff, maintaining autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences.
Work in a fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination.
Schedule
Schedule is Monday–Friday 8am–4:30pm, with the opportunity to work 4, 10-hour shifts.
Education/Experience
Master’s degree in nursing with Acute Care/Adult/Geriatric/Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
GI clinicals or work experience is a plus, but not required.
Licensure/Certification
Current Illinois registered nurse license and Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant licensure.
Credentialing and privileging required before start date.
Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $59.38 - $77.20/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range at the time of posting. Actual compensation offered will depend on factors including experience, qualifications, location, licenses, shifts worked, and compensation model. Carle Health offers a comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/life insurance, 403(b) with employer match, long-term disability, relocation allowance, CME allowance, and paid malpractice insurance with tail coverage.
