Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) – Per Diem – UNC Health Lenoir
Join UNC Health’s Hospital Medicine program in Kinston, NC as a per diem APP Hospitalist. Deliver high‑quality, team‑based inpatient services and contribute to our mission to improve community health. Responsibilities
Deliver inpatient medical/surgical and ICU patient care. Participate in daily clinical rounds and interdisciplinary meetings. Document patient encounters and chart orders accurately. Assist with code response and emergency interventions. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other team members. Schedule and Benefits
• Variable on‑site schedule, 7 am‑7 pm with two or more shifts per month • Open ICU (procedures not required) • EPIC EMR • Competitive salary plus incentive bonus • Generous benefits package including CME allowance, health & life insurance and retirement plan Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program Experience as a hospitalist PA or NP preferred; new graduate APPs welcome Preferred inpatient ED or ICU experience Licensure and Certification
