We are seeking an experienced
Plumbing Excavation Sales Specialist/Camera Professional
in St. Louis to operate camera and locating equipment within our Plumbing Underground Department. Ideal candidates will have superior customer service skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and thrive in a challenging environment. Using camera equipment to assess line conditions Utilizing line locating equipment for accurate mapping of Sanitary, Storm, and Water line systems Listening to customer needs, assessing, and creating tailored solutions Creating accurate, complete proposals that are easily transferred to our Fulfillment/Service teams Building rapport with customers to foster relationships and support them through the buying process Understanding city requirements, permits, and regulations Partnering with our fulfillment/service and customer experience teams to ensure overall success Maintaining organization, motivation, flexibility, and teamwork Communicating clearly and confidently with customers throughout the service experience Adjusting communication style to enhance customer experience Documenting detailed job notes in customer accounts for future reference Sharing thoughts and experiences with coworkers in meetings and one-on-one interactions Being open to new ideas and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness Communicating regularly with dispatchers to update job status for scheduling Keeping workspace and company vehicle clean and organized Working safely and promoting safety among team members Sales experience is required; technical experience is not Previous in-home services experience is strongly preferred All employees must prioritize safety and adhere to OSHA requirements as applicable. Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
This role requires sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, stooping, handling controls, hearing, and talking regularly. Employees must reach with hands and arms, climb ladders, work in hot/cold environments and crawl spaces, and frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs. Vision abilities include close vision and focus adjustment. The work environment varies seasonally and involves outdoor work with potential interruptions and changing priorities.
