location. Pay for the Counter Salesperson is between $22 and $24 per hour at this location. EEOC and background screening information is provided below. Responsibilities

Confidently assist customers who purchase and/or pick up merchandise at the Profit Center. Accurately process and fill Sales Orders generated at the sales counter. Attract and retain customers. Work with the Profit Center Manager (PCM) to establish revenue and margin targets. Verify the Pick Ticket ship date matches when the material is picked up by the customer, update accordingly, and obtain customer signature before releasing material. Provide customers with reliable information regarding product specifications, pricing, and availability. Keep the counter area and merchandise displays clean, neat, current, stocked, and safely displayed. Ensure security and control is upheld at this primary point of customer contact. Communicate any changes in a customer’s business that might affect credit risk to the Profit Center Manager and Credit Manager. Process cash sale returns and refund paperwork in accordance with Company policy and procedure. Inform supervisor of inventory levels or stock depletions that could impact customer service levels. Assist co-workers in servicing customers, including answering incoming calls, stocking merchandise in the warehouse, and pulling orders for delivery. Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned. Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and management. About You

1+ years’ experience in customer service or counter sales; contractor sales preferred. Knowledge of products sold in the Profit Center. Demonstrate outstanding customer service, verbal communication, and listening skills. Keep up-to-date knowledge of products; be able to suggest associated products for purchase. Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers. Ask probing questions to understand needs, overcome objections, and ask for the order. Apply and practice safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment. Learn to operate warehouse material-handling equipment, hand tools, and computer systems used to process orders. Read, write, speak, and understand English. Benefits
