The Inside Sales Coordinator performs inside sales duties to support the Growth & Retention of Atlanta Gas Light (AGL) and Chattanooga Gas Company (CGC). Must be a team player with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.

This position follows a hybrid work schedule. Employees are required to be in the office four (4) days per week.

Representative Duties and Responsibilities

Track and report on sales programs including response and conversion rates

Prepare a variety of weekly and monthly reports to support the Growth & Retention team

Perform monthly data quality verification checks on new and existing projects

Responsible for in-house program management, including tracking applications, verifying status and eligibility, contacting customers, employees, builders, marketers, or contractors for more information or in the event of a discrepancy, processing check payments, sending correspondence, tracking, reporting, and serving as point of contact for answering questions relating to the program

Educate current and prospective customers on the benefits of natural gas, natural gas appliances, cost savings of converting to natural gas, and answer any questions the customer may have related to any of our growth and retention programs or questions on the process of converting to natural gas

Responsible for managing customer touchpoints as part of Growth & Retention programs, including serving as point of contact, determining program eligibility, managing agreements and terms & conditions, maintaining all notes and paperwork, processing invoices, and handling customer questions and concerns

Provide support and help manage programs focused on converting new customers and existing customers to natural gas

Maintain several departmental databases and ensure accurate reporting and tracking to support the Growth & Retention department

Provide ah-hoc support to management related to reports, metrics, goals, budget, programs, etc.

Perform onboarding tasks such as creating new requests, entering gas loads, entering customer contact information, corresponding with customers, contractors, marketers, and builders, and completing onboarding tasks

Arrange meeting logistics (e.g., schedule meetings, reserve meeting space, order refreshments/audio visual equipment or other materials); monitor and follow up on meeting requests, send reminders, and other communication as required

Send form letters and/or mass mailings to customers, upon customer or new business representatives' request

Process and track invoices to ensure payment; track invoices paid for budget reconciliation and planning

Support sales management in identifying new customers, markets, and applications for natural gas and assess the business impact of those implications

Provide research assistance for strategic planning and business development efforts as well as ad-hoc research requests

Conduct inside sales calls to prospective natural gas customers

Manage employee and customer referral programs designed to encourage lead generation and topline growth

Be proficient in several company systems including GSCA, GCMA, CC&B, WMIS, GLOBE and ARM

Update customer information in GCMA and CC&B, as needed, and serve as research expert on customer accounts

Make customer calls for account executives and create PWR/BCAs when needed, provide coverage for account executives during planned and unplanned absences

Responsible for helping lead Records & Information Management (RIM) program for department

Responsible for special projects, as requested

Responsible for maintaining working knowledge of all company products and services, as well as operating policies and procedures

Other duties as assigned in support of company growth and retention

Education and Experience Required:

BA/BS degree with 2-3 years applicable experience or equivalent combination of academic education and experience

Preferred:

Natural Gas industry experience with 2-3 years sales, construction, or GIS experience

Skills Required:

Advanced Microsoft office skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)

Must be able to independently set priorities of tasks amongst multiple assigned projects

Strong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to work with all levels within the organization

Ability to effectively sell, listen, and communicate with customers

Superior organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
