These functions describe the duties performed by employees and are not exhaustive. Perform high complexity sample analysis in accordance with environmental/biological scope and/or CLIP accreditation. Conduct high complexity tests authorized by the Clinical Laboratory Senior Scientist. Demonstrate laboratory capabilities as required. Follow all laboratory policies and SOPs. Handle specimen processing, test performance, and reporting as per 42 CFR 493. Perform only those high complexity tests authorized by the laboratory director, based on your education, training, and skills. Maintain records of patient test results, quality control activities, instrument calibrations, and corrective actions when deviations occur. Non-Essential Duties
Other duties as assigned. Required Skills, Education, and Experience
Must qualify under one of the following: licensed medical doctor, osteopath, or podiatrist; or hold an accredited doctoral, master's, or bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field; or an associate degree in laboratory science or medical technology; or equivalent education and training including military medical laboratory procedures. Physical Requirements
Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, handle objects, reach, talk, and hear. Occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, and depth perception, and focus adjustment. Working Conditions
Primarily office environment with extensive computer use. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities. Additional Qualifying Factors
