Are you a skilled and compassionate Emergency Veterinarian looking to elevate your career within a supportive, progressive, and privately owned hospital? CVETS, Columbia, SC's only 24-hour privately owned emergency and specialty veterinary hospital, is seeking dedicated full-time or part-time Emergency Veterinarians to join our rapidly growing team.

Your Impact as an Emergency Veterinarian As an Emergency Veterinarian, you’ll diagnose and treat a diverse range of emergency cases with immediate access to a full spectrum of specialty services.
Responsibilities
Lead critical cases: triage, diagnose, and treat urgent and complex emergency cases.
Collaborate with on-site board-certified specialists (including Surgery, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Neurology, and more) for advanced patient management.
Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and the advancement of veterinary emergency medicine.

Facilities & Support State-of-the-art facilities designed for excellence with on-site advanced imaging, ICU, and surgical suites:
Advanced imaging on-site: MRI & CT, plus a C-Arm for real-time fluoroscopic imaging
Dedicated critical care unit (ICU) for intensive monitoring
Five surgical suites, including a minimally invasive suite with fluoroscopy and a "Smart O.R."
Comprehensive specialty support includes Physical Therapy, I-131 treatment, endoscopy, chemotherapy, and more—all under one roof.

Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
Licensure to practice veterinary medicine in South Carolina (or eligibility)
Strong clinical skills in emergency medicine and critical care
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities; clear and compassionate communication with clients and colleagues
Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced, collaborative team
Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical records
Ability to handle stressful situations with composure and efficiency
