Geisinger is seeking a BC/BE allergy and immunology physician (MD or DO) for its practice at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. This is an outstanding opportunity for an allergist to join a large health system recognized nationally for innovation and quality care. Job Duties The vision and mission of the practice are to provide exceptional care for pediatric and adult patients with asthma, allergic diseases, and immunologic disorders. This opportunity involves working closely with 6 other allergist/immunologists and 3 advanced practitioners across the Geisinger System in central and northeastern Pennsylvania. They will share call, collaborate through email and tele-video, and meet regularly. The region has multiple primary care and subspecialist physicians, serving as a rich source of referrals. Local hospitals include Geisinger Community Medical Center and Geisinger Wyoming Valley. Major tertiary referral centers are Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Hershey Medical Center, and the University of Pittsburgh.
