Cascade is seeking a dynamic and motivated Program Outreach Engineer II to join our team. In this role, you will lead outreach efforts to identify and drive new opportunities for industrial energy efficiency projects. You will play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with utility customers and market partners, promoting participation in the energy efficiency programs managed by Cascade. As a trusted technical resource, you will work closely with customers to understand their operations, assess project opportunities, estimate energy savings, and support implementation of recommended measures. You’ll collaborate with engineering teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects are completed effectively, contributing to the success and reputation of Cascade’s utility programs. About Us

What You Will Be Doing: Foster strong relationships with customers and vendors to ensure satisfaction and uncover future opportunities. Proactively identify and define opportunities in Capital and Energy Management projects. Support engineering by collecting and logging data; occasionally assist with or conduct engineering studies. Review and verify engineering calculations and technical reports Generate leads through cold calls, networking, and vendor partnerships aligned with industrial energy efficiency goals. Use consultative sales strategies to recommend tailored program offerings to potential customers. Clearly and accurately communicate program requirements. Leverage technical resources effectively to support project goals. Provide timely reporting on lead generation, project progress, and other relevant metrics. Build and maintain strong working relationships with engineers, support staff, vendors, and customers. This is a

full-time, exempt position located in Utah, preferably near our office in Pleasant Grove, UT

for weekly in-office meetings. Travel will vary but could be as high as 40% at customer sites. Most travel will be day trips, but occasional stays may be the most efficient use of time. Qualifications

Applicants for this role are

required

to have: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience Project management experience, preferably in energy efficiency or related industry 4+ years of experience in energy efficiency, commercial and/or industrial environments, project management or program delivery Ability to complete scoping level calculations for energy saving projects (technical experience) Experience working with and in industrial facilities is highly preferred, along with a solid understanding of general industrial technologies Experience with project tracking, including M&V planning and baseline data analysis A successful candidate should also demonstrate these

The salary range for this position in Salt Lake City, UT is $77,400 - $96,800/year.
