JOB SUMMARY The Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant, provides patient services under the supervision of a licensed physician. The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant ensures continuity between clinical practice and standards of care as well as promotes and aids in patient preparation for discharge. This individual works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other health care disciplines utilizing a team approach to healthcare. With this role, a 4 10hr work schedule, or 5 8hr work schedule can be accommodated. Responsibilities

EDUCATION For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation. Minimum Required:

Master\'s Degree in Nursing/Physician Assistant. Preferred/Optional:

One to two years\' nursing experience in specialty or OR. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position. Minimum Required:

Current State of Wisconsin Nurse License or Nurse Compact License, and Nurse Practitioner Licensure. Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire. Additional department-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required (varies by department/location). Preferred/Optional:
