Performs Diagnostic Radiographic, CT Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, or Special Procedures according to department protocols. Acts as the first point of contact with patients and ensures their imaging needs are met. Participates in Performance Improvement and Quality Control activities. Assists in maintaining the Performance Improvement Program. Oversees radiology staff and area in the Manager’s/Director’s absence. Maintains department supplies and equipment. Promotes teamwork and excellent customer service. Handles scheduling for assigned sub-departments and ensures proper processing and transmission of images to PACS. Qualifications
Education and Work Experience: State licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required. Required national certification; modalities may vary based on role: Appropriate national certifications in two modalities, or Certification in one modality plus Bone Density, IR special procedures, or unregistered CT tech performing CT procedures, or Certification in one modality plus Student Coordinator role. Current BLS certification (AHA). Knowledge of State and Federal regulations. One year of clinical radiography experience preferred. Proficient computer skills. #LI-KJ1 Employment Status
