It also provides physical and psychological support to patients, families, and friends, while overseeing assigned team members as applicable. Our Mission

Graduate of RN program from an accredited school of nursing required. Current Montana RN license or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice in Montana; required. BSN degree preferred. Minimum of one year experience in a similar medical setting preferred. Knowledge of professional nursing theory, medical terminology, and principles of nursing practice. Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS certification required. Certifications as applicable to assignment: NRP, PALS, ACLS within 12 months; TNCC or ENPC within 18 months. PRN employees: BLS required, others preferred. Understanding of confidentiality laws, HIPAA guidelines. Knowledge of equipment, supplies, clinical laboratory methods, and safety regulations. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team. Computer skills including Microsoft Office; ability to learn new software. Job Specific Duties

Cross-train in other nursing areas as needed. Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized nursing care. Provide direct patient care within scope of practice. Maintain nursing standards and respond to workload and patient condition changes. Complete assessments, transcribe orders, document care timely. Follow infection control, safety policies, and environmental protocols. Report changes in patient conditions. Maintain current nursing knowledge and participate in continuing education. Provide patient and family education. Assess patient needs, problem-solve, and coordinate interventions. Precept and assist with new personnel orientation.
