As part of the Bracco Group, Bracco Medical Technologies benefits from the resources of a multinational conglomerate with broad expertise in cath lab and radiology suite technology and a dedication to continuous advancement.We are currently seeking intern/co-op candidates to learn with us as they engage in a variety of hands-on projects alongside our high-performing and authentic Operations team.**Position Summary**This **Manufacturing Engineering Co-op** role is a hands-on engineering position that supports the manufacturing of medical device capital equipment. Through manufacturing support, students will investigate production failures, work with cross-functional teams to disposition non-conforming material and implement lean processes and assembly tools/fixtures to improve efficiency. Primary responsibilities are as follows:* Assist in the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes and for medical device systems.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process enhancements, cost-saving initiatives, and quality improvements.* Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts to address manufacturing issues.* Execute and support continuous improvement projects to optimize overall manufacturing performance and reduce waste.* Assist in the creation and maintenance of manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.* Collaborate with the engineering team to design, fabricate, and implement manufacturing assembly aids and test fixtures.* Contribute to the development and execution of process validation and verification activities.**Training to be Provided**Students will be exposed to working with various operations and product development departments within the Bracco Medical Technologies (BMT) organization.
