Packaging Engineer
— As a Packaging Engineer, you will provide essential technical knowledge and support across labeling, packaging, quality assurance, and R&D. You will also be responsible for executing capital projects related to equipment expansion and process improvement for labeling and packaging, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic plan. Responsibilities
Provide technical knowledge for the development and specification of printed, primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging materials. Offer packaging engineering support to departments such as labeling, filling, quality assurance, and R&D. Investigate and remediate material quality issues and product quality complaints associated with labeling and packaging. Design and develop new product presentation packaging materials and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency. Provide engineering support for capital equipment projects, including specification development, installation, and validation. What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications)
Education:
Bachelor of Science Degree (Engineering preferred) or relevant experience in lieu of a degree. Experience:
A minimum of 1+ years experience in packaging or filling (liquids). Top 2 skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to plan, schedule, organize, prioritize, and coordinate project activities. What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
