The Department of Psychiatry at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center seeks a Physician to continue our excellent patient care. Appointment levels include Clinical Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or full Professor, commensurate with experience. Compensation is highly competitive. A Brief Overview Provides and manages direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and care within a recognized area of practice or for a specific patient population. What You Will Do Provide and manage direct patient care, including examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for a specified patient population. Prescribe pharmaceuticals, medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate. Refer patients to specialists and relevant care components as needed. Train and supervise medical students and residents involved in specialty activities and procedures. Manage daily operations of specific medical programs, patient care units, or research functions as applicable. Coordinate patient care activities of nursing and support staff. Follow departmental policies, procedures, quality improvement objectives, and safety standards. Participate in health promotion, education, and prevention programs as appropriate. Maintain departmental productivity thresholds. Maintain faculty status in good standing with CWRU SOM (if applicable). Adhere to core physician obligations outlined in the Physician Policy Manual. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all policies and standards. Refer to departmental documentation during orientation for specific duties. Maintain compliance with all requirements to securely handle Protected Health Information (PHI), including annual training and adherence to UH policies and procedures.
