Overview
Roving Veterinary Surgeon position based at a West Yorkshire hospital. Enjoy the flexibility of locum life with the stability and benefits of being an employee. Salary up to £70,000 per annum (depends on experience) with a four-day workweek (Monday to Friday) and a rota provided at least six weeks in advance to aid planning. Responsibilities
Consult with clients, perform routine surgeries, and manage emergency cases. Work across multiple Primary Care Practices within the network and contribute to the main hospital when needed. Interpret diagnostics and make clinical decisions for both consultations and hands-on cases. Occasionally work sole charge and collaborate with a large veterinary team including nursing and front-of-house staff. Qualifications and Skills
Confident veterinarian with comfort handling all elements of the role, including consulting, routine surgery, and emergencies. Ability to work sole charge and across multiple practices; strong clinical decision-making skills. Benefits and What We Offer

They focus on clinical excellence and client/patient care. Clinics are Cat-Friendly and operate 15-minute consults as a minimum. Services include primary care, advanced procedures (laparoscopy, endoscopy, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries, cardiology, ophthalmology, CT), and an in-house rehabilitation service with physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, and laser therapy. The hospital is purpose-built with a large waiting room, separate cat and dog areas, fully equipped theatres, air-conditioned consult rooms, and a supportive staff team. Location and Team
