What you will do The Lead QA Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products that meet business and user needs within our two‑week production release cycles. This position is responsible for defining, implementing, and executing quality assurance strategies that uphold our product standards while continuously driving improvements in testing efficiency and automation. The Lead QA Engineer will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Production Support teams to plan, test, and release new features and enhancements while maintaining a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and user experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

Test Planning & Execution – Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements.

Automation & AI Integration – Identify and promote opportunities to leverage automation tools and AI technologies to optimize QA processes, increase test coverage, and reduce manual effort.

Agile Collaboration – Serve as a key member of a high‑performing Agile team, conducting functional, regression, and integration testing within two‑week sprint intervals.

Issue Resolution Support – Partner with developers to analyze, reproduce, and troubleshoot defects, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication of root causes.

Environment & Release Readiness – Assist in preparing and maintaining test environments, data sets, and release validation processes to support continuous delivery.

Leadership & Mentorship – Act as the lead QA for assigned features or sprints, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and onboarding support to junior QA engineers.

Cross‑Team Collaboration – Work with Production Support to investigate post‑release issues, ensuring lessons learned are captured and integrated into future test strategies.

Continuous Improvement – Drive AI enhancements to testing methodologies, QA documentation, and overall quality practices to improve efficiency and maintain product excellence.

How you will grab our attention: Knowledge and Skills Requirements Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field preferred

High School diploma or GED required

Experience & Technical Skills

Minimum 4+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance

Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and recommend clear, actionable solutions

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with rapid release cycles

Hands‑on experience with Jira, test case management tools, and AI‑driven test generation solutions

Strong communication, collaboration, and customer service orientation

Prior experience supporting technology products within the real estate industry (preferred but not required)

Proven ability to work effectively in remote and distributed team environments

High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes
