Phantom Works Proprietary Structural Design Engineer (Experienced/Senior)

Position Responsibilities
Develop, integrate, and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish system design
Develop, maintain, and modify structural and interior payload system and component designs, using 3‑D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle
Perform tests to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
Manage supplier development, test and production activities and coordinate with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals
Support investigation of emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Level 3: 5+ years of work related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s, 3+ years with a Master’s, or work related engineering experience with a PhD
Level 4: 9+ years of working experience with a Bachelor’s, 7+ years with a Masters, or 4+ years with a PhD
Experience with 3D solid modeling software Unigraphics
Required Clearance and Security This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). An active U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.
This position requires a Top Secret/SCI Clearance post start.
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.
Location and Work Environment Phantom Works programs develop complex, highly integrated, advanced systems, enabling future growth for Boeing and our Department of Defense (DoD) Customers. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options in Berkeley, MO. This position is 100% onsite. The position is for 1st shift.
